Charlie's favorite place on Maui is Kapalua Bay and Merriman's Kapalua is one of her favorite restaurants. So when her boyfriend, Nico, surprised her with a marriage proposal on Kapalua Bay beach at sunset, she was overjoyed. We kept out of sight and let Nico do his surprise proposal on one knee while we captured it all. These two are such amazing people and wonderful clients to have. Charlie's mom arranged it all since Nico and Charlie work from home and also live in the same place. Nico said there was no way he could manage to hide the surprise Maui beach engagement from Charlie without her help. This made it a bit tricky on our end but we were happy to help. We are absolutely delighted that Charlie was completely surprised and she had one of the best days ever! Congratulations to Charlie & Nico!
